JULY 29- AUGUST 9, 2026
The 2026 festival has announced three new plays: Fission, by Cindy Lou Johnson, Night Game, by Octavio Solis, and The Communist Revolution: A Ninth Grade European History Project (there will be a practical demonstration) by Grace McLeod.
Along with the World-Premiere production, The House I Live In: Josh White’s America. This original musical with book by Donnetta Lavinia Grays, and music and lyrics by Josh White, is inspired by the true-life story of the Greenville-born blues and folk musician who rose to fame in the 1930s and 1940s as a singer-songwriter and as a pioneer in the civil rights movement.
We will also be introducing a Late Night Variety Show, and returning with fan favorites; Spinx Market Live Arts Fair on Main Street, South Carolina’s Next Broadway Star, and our “can't-miss” Broadway Cabaret starring Drew Gehling, who ist currently playing Will Shakespeare in & Juliet.
And you won’t want to miss SCNPF’s newest Venue, the Cristal Palace. A 19th century dance hall from Belgium that we are installing downtown!
